ABOUT Boris Bennet
“I make music to stay grounded — for those ready to lose themselves.“
I’m more of an introvert. I don’t have a big network or many friends, to be honest. Human interactions can be exhausting for me. But music? That’s where I feel free. That’s what I want to do. It’s not about ego, being the best, or creating some technically perfect track. I’m not trying to be Mozart, and I don’t care about chasing trends or what’s hot. If I did that, I wouldn’t be an artist. I’d be a slave to the industry. For me, it’s about something truer: having fun, getting people to move, and losing ourselves in the energy of the night.Music has always been part of my life. But I didn’t start making my own until after I got really sick in 2013. It gave me energy and hope when things were tough. I’ve been working on it on and off for about eight years. Now, in 2025, I’m finally releasing my first track.I’m not after fame. I make music to stay grounded, for people who are ready to lose themselves. I like breaking rules and doing things my way. Some musicians get hung up on samples, saying they’re not pure because the work isn’t all theirs. I think that’s a pointless argument in electronic music. I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. It’s not about owning every sound — it’s about what you create with them. Electronic music is always, at some point, a collaboration. It’s about the feeling you build, not some ego-driven need to prove yourself.I just want to make music that creates energy, on my own terms, for as long as I can. If people connect with it, that’s great. If not, that’s fine. I’m not Disney+.
„My label — my rules.“

Behind the visuals of SUPERRFREAK
Boris Bennet studied art in Warsaw and at the Bauhaus Academy in Berlin-Weißensee. His approach to music is shaped by that background:
“I don’t compose like a classical musician — I build tracks the way I used to paint. Sound becomes color, and structure comes from tension and instinct. If there are rules, I want to break them.”Creating a visual for SUPERRFREAK was never an afterthought — it was part of the concept from the beginning. The result is a collaboration between analog and AI: Chilean artist Francisco Irribarra worked directly on Super 8 film, hand-scratching, drawing, and layering textures onto each frame. Bennet then brought in Sora, OpenAI’s generative video model, to reimagine the footage — expanding it into surreal, machine-made dreamscapes. The final video is a visual collision between eras, tools, and temperaments. Between memory and machine. Between the human touch and the digital subconscious — that’s where the Superfreak lives.
